Jean‑Yves
Bonhomme
Consulting and audits for tennis club development.
For Jean‑Yves, tennis isn’t a job — it’s a life story.
Born into a family where tennis was central, he discovered the court at age 7. Early on, the game became a landmark, a language, a lasting passion that shaped both his personal and professional journey. A natural competitor, Jean‑Yves developed a culture of high standards, respect, and self‑improvement. This on‑court experience now fuels a sharp understanding of the sports and human dynamics that make a club successful.
Holding the French State Diploma as a tennis coach, he built his career as an instructor with a demanding yet deeply human approach. Teaching, guiding, and helping each person progress at their own pace is part of his DNA. His coaching blends technique with trust, listening, and emotional intelligence.
An entrepreneur since the late 1980s, Jean‑Yves has led and developed private organizations, handling full club operations and managing teams of 3 to 9 people. Organization, strategic vision, financial management, member relations: he knows the day‑to‑day realities of clubs—both their strengths and their fragilities.
His practice of golf from 2004 to 2019 broadened his perspective and sharpened his sense of detail, customer experience, and the management of high‑value sports venues. From 2019 to 2021, he led a municipalization project for a tennis club integrated into the Golfe de Saint‑Tropez, serving as Director of the municipal tennis service. This role confirmed his ability to operate in institutional environments, structure public projects, and build lasting relationships between local authorities, teams, and users.
Today, Jean‑Yves supports clubs through tailored consulting and audits. His approach is rooted in a strong belief: a high‑performing club is first and foremost a club aligned—between its vision, its teams, and its values. Warm, committed, and unifying, Jean‑Yves works with accuracy, discretion, and clarity. He doesn’t offer one‑size‑fits‑all solutions, but precise guidance that respects each organization’s identity.
